Chain is sterling silver and bar is aluminum, polished to a high shine.The horizontal bar is approximately 1 3/4 -2" long and is aluminum. It is hand cut, sanded, stamped with your custom year and made to order.
*You can request a custom numeral or Roman Numeral year. Add custom text with the year you want. If it is not a 40th or 50th birthday, your necklace will include the "time & good friends" card.
You choose your chain length, 16 or 18". All chains will be a rhodium plated, sterling silver Italian box chain. All necklaces will have the slide option. This means that the chain is not attached directly to the bar. The benefit to this is that the bar will always hang centered. You can also swap out bars and contact me to order individual bars.

*** Stering silver will tarnish over time- a natural process. A polishing pad is included with the purchase to keep them clean. When not being worn, they should be stored in a zip-top style bag with all the air squished out.
*** Aluminum does not tarnish. To clean your aluminum pieces, dampen a soft cloth and wipe clean, then dry thoroughly.
*** Since my items are handmade, they should not be worn while showering or swimming or exposed to chlorine, salt water or other. Please note that any perfumes, lotions and medications may cause a reaction with your skin and metal. Apply perfumes and lotions before you put on your jewelry.
